Finally! And a huge thanks to CUPW for the added headache this year, the holiday season doesn't provide enough anxiety already. cupwcorruptionexposed.com/

The Canadian postal strike is now over. Regular work shifts and postal delivery will now resume, immediately. Probaby a bit chilly to ship across country now, but local ExpressPost shipments with/out heat packs may still be possible in the colder parts of the country, especially if a warm spell drifts in. Otherwise, we'll have to wait until the very merry month of May... ...just to be safe! dvg

Thought the postal strike was over? Not so quick there, Trigger. www.cupw.ca/en/community-picket-lines-set-pacific-processing-centreMembers from other major unions in BC have set up a picket line at the Pacific Processing Center... ...Canada's third largest mail plant. Canada post workers are being allowed into the plant, but no mail is being allowed out. dvg

It seems that the disruptions in mail delivery are not completely over.
The following text just leaked out from the Edmonton postal union...
"Attention Depots: Other unions are coming to our defence and the defence of all Canadian’s constitutional right to strike. Pickets are forming at processing plants across the county. Right now nothing is coming out of the Edmonton processing plant! All members are strongly adviced NOT to join this action."

www.google.ca/amp/s/globalnews.ca/news/4714605/protest-canada-post-halifax/amp/The postal processing plant in Halifax was shut down by protesters for two hours this morning. Once police arrived they were able to disperse the protesters and allow mail trucks back into and out of the mail plant again. Likewise, in Edmonton, the postal processing plant called the police to allow mail trucks out of their plant. dvg
