Was able to pollinate some P. moranensis flowers with pollen from my P. heterophylla flowers. a while back. Got a lot of variation in leaf colors, leaf shapes and plant structures. Will update some of the other clones when time permits. Here is one of the resulting clones... dvg

Thanks Shogg, Here are a few more of the clones from this crossing of a red leaved P. moranensis mother with the P. heterophylla pollen donor father, now resituated in more spacious dwelling spaces. This clone didn't stray too far from its mother's apron strings, showing more of the mother's traits than the father's. Likewise, this diminutive clone clearly has taken on more traits from the heterophylla father. Some clones have greenish leaves with hues of pink, while others start out as greenish leaves with red veins bleeding through, only to add overlays of darker reds in brighter light. Some are just naturally darker in color, Some have narrower more upright, elongated leaves. This one, with a bit of imagination, kinda looks like a campfire. A comparison shot with the mexi-ping in the first post here in this thread. There are other clones too, not shown here - will update if anything interesting starts to develop. dvg

A fair portion of the clones from this cross resemble sea stars in shape. Noticed that the mature leaves on this clone begin to develop a clockwise curve to them, circling into leaf tip curlicues, similar to a cephlapod's tentacles. dvg
