I thought Mexican pinguicula did not go into winter dormancy?

They develop smaller more succulent leaves or even reduce to small bulbs below the surface. In indoor culture it's not as pronounced for many species.

Bonjour
here you see only part of my collection of Mexican
in my home all these ping are outside from MAY to OCTOBER
the Mexican ping dormancy, corresponds to our winter in Europe from OCTOBER to MAY, in Mexico it corresponds to the warm and dry period that is why many pings are either succulent, arachnoide, or in the form of onion to these periods.
at these times, for the filiform ping the substrate must be dry, for the others just damp without more otherwise risk of decay , with a minimum temperature of 5 ° c and good light
all my temperate species , in hibernaculae actually ,stays outside all the year round ,including winter
