Hello everyone, It is the time for planting tuberous sundew! This year I have a bunch of tubers to plant and I will be updating this thread as they grow. I am using 1 part of peat and 3 part of perlite for the soil mix, and 1 inch of epoxy glazed white gravels. In the photos, the square grid is 6mm x 6mm for size references.
Tubers are the best! Hope they grow well for you. I just received a big shipment myself (this is only half of them!) I didn't think to take pictures of my tubers before I planted them, I'll have to do that in the future.
It won't be long for me. One of my D. aberrans tubers had an inch of growth on it when I received it so it's very close to breaking the surface, as does one whittakeri (I think) and one of my D. zigzagia tubers from last year. I already have some of last year's D. pauciflora seedlings emerging, though those aren't exactly tuberous.
