Just thought we could start a list of Sarrs and hybrids that we have found to be particularly cold tolerant and the conditions they have survived.
I'll start it with hummer's hammer head. Survived a winter of -15C sustained, in a net pot, rattling around in the box of my truck. Plus multiple freezes and frosts in the spring. Tough little plant. Had a couple others that survived the same conditions but have lost the tags so no idea what they are lol.

sar purp var purp, is native in Ontario, so it can easily survive Canadian winter
