It seems to be fairly high already but i would still trim it. As close to the base as possible being careful not to cut anything else. Then you can plant it in the media not anymore than about one centimeter deep. The propagation rate is fairly high this way if done right according to my experience. I usually trim the flower stalk when its about 2 inches at the very most. If you wait too much the flower drains enough energy that trimming or leaving it will already affect the plant the same way past a certain point ! Good luck

I did just as you said. Hope it works out. I just bought the plant and didn't want it wasting energy on the stock, I'd rather it use its energy getting acclimated to its pot. Thanks for the tips, you're awesome-sauce!
