Does anyone have any experience growing Cephalotus on windowsills WITHOUT supplemental light? The windowsill I'm considering is southeast facing.

Just my two cents here. It should do alright. You might not be seeing the full coloration from the plant, but I've seen growers with success with a bright windowsill Just make sure the temperature doesn't get too extreme, i.e. in summer not super hot (>29C), in winter not too cold (<15C). Cheers, Willy

I have a ceph in my office. It is on a west windowsill without supplemental light other than the ceiling fluorescents. There is AC so temperature is pretty constant and rather cool. The ceph is green but blooming at the moment.

Thanks for the feedback. It will be an experiment I'll keep notes on!
