I have coveted this plant for over 5 years. Finally acquired a 2 leaf specimen. It largely is hidden with tiny inconspicuous leaves in the moss, but a few weeks ago, I started noticing a couple of spikes. Today morning before the lights came on, I found this: The beautiful U. campbelliana. So amazing.

Hi Varun,
Fantastic! This must be the time of year for that species, I just got my first flower as well. Do you know what clone you have? Just curious. I have a clone from Wei-Assipu Tepui. Thanks for sharing the photo. It's so great to see someone else with a bloom right now!

Hi Varun - Actually, I did post a photo, in the " Plant of the Month April 2017" thread. Just a couple of quick snap shots, but I was so excited I had to enter it. It's an exciting plant to flower (I'm sure you know!).

It's an exciting plant to flower (I'm sure you know!). Just saw it. That was awesome. Beautiful shots of a beautiful plant Apo. You are right...its such a rewarding moment to see it flower suddenly. Especially it is so hard to even know if it is alive. The leaves are so small and hidden away. here it is fully open

Thanks guys. I appreciate your nice comments. It truly is a wonderful sight to see in person. I can't even imagine how amazing it must be to see a number of these flowering in situ.

Such an amazing plant, and great photos. So nice to see some of these made their way into Canada. If either of you ever have a division, keep me in mind!

Thanks Avery. Of course man.. its just so tiny..it isn't a very prolific plant ( at least in my conditions). I would love to propagate it and divide it. Its been over a year and it is still just so tiny.

Hi Varun & Avery - For me this plants has been a bit of a weed vegetatively. Still a bit of a shy bloomer - though better than my U. humboldtii or U. cornigera for example. The campy keeps trying to colonize other pots. I should probably let it! Avery, shoot me a PM when you get a chance.
