So I got this ~October last year and it grew 1 or 2 new leaves since then but it has stayed the same in recent two months. It just seemed to have stop growing. That tip has been like that for ages and didn't seem to get any bigger. Is there anything wrong with the plant? How to encourage it to grow faster other than misting? Setup is east facing winder in my living room above a heat/AC vent.
When was the last time it was given any kind of fertilizer? It might just need a mild coffee treatment.
Maybe a few weeks ago with super-diluted orchid fertilizer. Not enough eh? (Much rather not enough than too much though, can't lose this plant!!) I'll try the coffee treatment. Is it once-per-week or longer interval?
It is better to err on the side of caution, but I've been surprised at how much coffee Neps can handle at various stages. I would try a small amount, maybe even watered down, usually that produces some results within a week. Frequency can vary with how dilute the coffee is, I would only do full-strength about once a month until it's much larger.

The plant came in peat moss so I used the same thing, didn't realize it doesn't like water until rather recently. Good thing my windowsill is dry. The surface dries up if I skip watering for a day or two (less so during spring like now when heater isn't on as often.) Usually 21 Celsius, a bit warmer when the sun shows up.
So is LFS with a lot of perlite good enough? While I can probably get coir it's not exactly convenient to get at the moment....
As stated , personally I would punch a bunch of holes in the sides of the pot itself to allow a bunch of airflow. The peat may just be too dense for the roots and they may decline quickly because of that. I think now that the days are getting longer your plant may start to come around more. If you aren't giving it supplemented lighting of any kind i don't know if it's getting enough for it to grow very rapidly being in an easy facing window getting only a few hours of morning light.
I'd either switch to LFS and perlite or if you can't , drill a gang of holes in your pot to allow more airflow to the roots.
Let us know how the plant progresses or god forbid , digresses.

bonfield: I've decided to finally reveal my best-kept secret for growing healthy Neps: Just spit on them every few days, the enzymes in saliva help them to better absorb the fertilizer I spray them with!
