Is this a tiny slug on my P. agnata pot? I found another a couple weeks ago trying to escape from my P. pirouette into another pot when I was removing dead leaves. Will it eat my pings? I removed and flushed both down the toilet, but now I'm wondering if I could feed it to my VFT?! I fed the VFT a spider that I found on my socks one morning (after a wee bit of squealing). 😁

Hi jeff,
Thanks so much for answering!
The plants are from Willy (I'm a newbie), so I don't know what the media is. I got them in October. With me, they've only ever been indoors.
When you say, "they are wounds" do you mean that the pest won't kill them by eating them? Just injure them by munching on the leaves?
And, can I feed the bug to my VFT, or will it chew through the trap? eek!

Hi Mexiping,
Yes that is indeed a slug in your pic.
They can and will munch on butterwort leaves.
Once, a slug got onto one of my butterworts and munched away at the crown or growth point of the plant.
Interestingly, this did not kill the butterwort, but instead caused the mother ping to "pup out" a number of small plantlets around the mother ping's rosette.

Thanks for your reply!

I found one today eating my agnata. I fed it to the VFT. Hope the VFT eats it up before he tries to chew his way out.

Slugs are bad. I feed them to my VFT and axolotl.
