Hi All, This is really off-topic. I hope you don't think of it as spam! I am coordinating an Ultrasound Course to teach advanced techniques in Ultrasound Technology for Emergency Doctors at my hospital. It is an important course as it helps Emergency Doctors to provide quicker and better care for patients. In order to have the course, we need models for the Doctors to Ultrasound scan to learn the techniques. I am looking for youngish male models 18 years of age and up, of thin or average body type. We are looking for males as a lot of the scans are of the chest, so it would not be ideal to have female models. Thin or average body type models are required as the Doctors are learning and need easy models to practise on. The course will be on January 17 and 18, 2017. Models may volunteer for one day or two. The hours will be from 0745 to 1800 (7:45 am to 6 pm). There will be frequent breaks. 2 meals, 2 snacks, hot and cold drinks are provided free. Free parking will be provided. In order to compensate people for their time and effort a stipend of $100 will be paid for each day ($100 for 1 day, $200 for both days). The course will be at the Humber River Hospital in Toronto. I have been involved in a number of these courses and the volunteers are much appreciated and treated very well. They always enjoy the experience. Once again, I apologize if I am spamming. This is for a worthwhile cause. If anybody wants to volunteer or knows friends/family who might want to volunteer, please let me know. Thanks very much for your time, Lloyd Gordon, lgordon@hrh.ca 416-716-2016
