Whoa that one's cool Mack did you make it yourself? I'd want one of those! It was an eflite blade nano qx but to make it better for fpv I bought a carbon fiber frame from hobbyking and upgraded from 6x15mm coreless brushed motors and 45mm props to 7x20mm motors and 65 mm props. It's fun for zipping around in large houses and outside too! This is all beyond me D: I wish I knew more LOL

If you replace the motors, propellers and frame, is it still the same thing?

Nice upgrade! I made a RC plane before with cardboard, but it couldn't fly because it was too heavy. I'll make another one with foam board again when I have time! Not quite a RC flying thingy but I'm designing and making this RC car for a upcoming contest...
Almost done with the mechanical design, going to program the two arduinos for tx rx via rf24 transceivers and then wire it up! Willy

Those designs are all fine and good... ...until someone designs and builds an electromagnetic VFT, that eats the competition. I have a feeling that Willy could build that beast. dvg

Hi Willy that looks pretty cool! When you go to build a foam board plane go to flitetest.com for free plans and build videos. Lloyd that sounds like a challenge!

dvg, sadly they don't allow 'weapons' for the RC cars haha! I actually bought a foamboard kit from flitetest, I always enjoy watching their videos on youtube! I have all the parts, even the pre-cut foamboards but I just haven't gotten the time to make it and plan the flight! Willy
