I bought this 10" tablet. www.tinydeal.com/laude-a10-101-android-60-a64-1gb-16gb-tablet-pc-w-bluetooth-p-162248.htmlI really like it. I got it for $5 more on Dx extreme but I got a refund of USD$20 because they advertised it as having GPS and it doesn't. The only flaw is the Wifi in my bedroom is a bit weak so I put a $5 antenna in it to replace the dinky antenna that came with it. Now the tablet Wifi is fine anywhere in my house. Also this is an amazing doo-dad: m.gearbest.com/smart-watches/pp_159301.htmlThese prices are in CAD$ with free delivery! I have to use my cellphone at work and it always gets messy and it takes too long to get it out of my pocket. So I'm going to use the BT phone function on the watch. It does lots of other neat and useless stuff too, like monitoring your sleep and telling you when to drink water. I'm going to have fun playing with it.

I gotta say that watch is pretty cheap haha. Quality might be a little questionable. But if you order five of them and each lasts six months, that wouldn't be too shabby!

So far, for $10, it works amazingly well.

Does anybody have an old computer which is really slow? I have a Lenovo notebook from 2007 and it's really showing it's age, super slow to do most things. I downloaded Raspberry Pixel, burned it to a DVD and booted from it. It really speeds up browsing the net. Looks like an interesting OS. I may use it more often except when I have to use Windows software. www.raspberrypi.org/blog/introducing-pixel/

Makes sense that the RasPi OS runs well, made to run on minimal hardware. I have a 1st gen RasPi, and the OS runs well on that. Its always so satisfying to revitalize machines like that.

I've used my $10 smartwatch a number of times now. It really comes in handy when you can't immediately (hands wet/messy/occupied)grab your cell phone. It really is pretty good and for $10 can't be beat.

Awfully curious whether anyone has tried Raspberry Pixel on hardware as minimal as Asus EeePC?
