Are you planning on keeping killifish? They are beautiful fish but boring; the tank would have 2-3 inches of water and lots of vegetation. They are not that active - quite sedentary.. If you did research you'd know that there are top-notch breeders worldwide of these fish and they do sell the eggs. Its a big community. Check it out. Here in Vancouver there is the Vancouver Aquatic Hobbyist Society - www.vahs.ca - and there are 2 to 3 members that breed them but I don't know where you're located. I'm not that active of a member nowadays Good luck

I was interested in them, but I didn't know they were lazy and didn't move around much. How big a tank do ya NEED? I have found eggs outside of canada but none in canada. I will look at the Vancouver thing.

I have had killies in the past. I did not find them boring or lazy. They were allways on the move looking for food. I did feed then mostly live food. And yes very beautiful fish well worth keeping. KP.
