Hi, I have been researching this trying to find out if water from an evestrough is safe for cp's. Around here we have had an extremely hot dry summer not much rain. So with buckets on my lawn it doesn't collect much. I was going to put it under a rain pipe, but I though maybe since it runs of the shingles and all that kind of stuff it would contaminate the water and make it unsafe for cp's. Does anybody know the answer to this or have ever use water from an Evestrough? Thanks have a good day/night

All of my plants are now watered with either water collected in rain barrels or from melted snow.
I used to water the plants with bottled RO water, but have found that the water coming off the roof is good enough to water the plants with.
dvg

I just wondered if the shingles would make the water toxic.
