Try checking HomeDepot, Lowes, Canadian Tire etc. for clearance plants. My local Canadian Tire had some half-dead plants for $3

My local Canadian Tire had some half-dead plants for $3 I did, I found them at reptile shed, a store near me, and they had a bunch half dead though but had nice long leaves and red traps. The price was 11$ to expensive for their condition. It was disappointing

11$ for one is something. And it's convenient as you can pick and choose which one you like. If you find a typical one on here , there's a good chance you're gonna pay 11$ just for shipping anyways depending on where the plant is coming from. As well as losing out a plant on the trade itself. Yes $11 is pretty pricey for a typical vft but I'm sure you could talk them down on price if the condition was that terrible. Just a thought

Just a thought Quite true, shipping is horribly expensive. Depends where you are then, exoticplantseller. Not worth it unless you can do local pickup. (And I've never seen any VFT cheaper than $8+tax in Toronto, even when half dead.)

Just a thought I have bought them for 5$ much healthier. I will pay 11 if it's a healthy plant, but these all had crown rot or black leaves and such. Thanks for the advice. I might be able to trade them guppies for that. They said we could trade or buy.
