I can't get a pic right now but I will try, but one of my D.capensis typical is doing some ODD stuff outside
the petioles are now as wide as the .. lamina (the "trap part of the leaf" is lamina correct??)
And one leaf is doing the weirdest thing I've ever seen- the leaf is almost twice as broad as the others and is totally balled-up, almost looks like it is a loop that joins back to itself, and the leaf is oddly split (bifurcated?? kinda split but not totally, with a deep depression in the middle) and from this it looks as if it has formed not only a new plant of some sort, but also what appears to be a flower stalk coming out of the "plant" which is part of the leaf, it is totally odd looking, but the plant appears healthy despite its totally strange growth habit. the "albino" varity right next to it looks totally normal albeit pretty huge, no signs of any weirdness whatsoever
Anyone else have D.capensis do really strange stuff for them??

I have never seen a leaf dichomoty in Drosera capensis, even accidential, nor a petiole as wide as the lamina (the term was right Carl)... Don't forget to send us a picture if you have any occasion! Mutant always do good picture

actually I'm not sure, I can't get a pic but I'll be sure to check it out today and report back, last I checked it was still goofy looking but the most recent leaves seem to be more normal, albeit still VERY wide, but none of yhe extreme oddness of a few weeks ago... if it IS looking really odd I will take the best pic I can and post it here
