Hello, my name is brad and I purchased my first vft from a big box store, near death (the plant, not me), and took care of it. Now, not only did it start flourishing, I kind of realized that I have a strong interest in horticulture. I want to grow my collection with a multitude of different vft clones but there is nowhere that sells them. And as sad as this may sound, this is the first forum I have ever joined, so please be patient with me. lol.
I have to post 10 times before I can access the trades/sales. Any help in getting vft clones will be appreciated. Anyway, here's post 1. Hopefully one day I will be able to help newbies too. Thanks everyone and take care.
Welcome to your first forum! Hope you enjoy your time here. Please feel free to search any questions you may have & read the rules. If you're still stumped on something, be sure to create a thread in the appropriate section.
In the states, VFT cultivars are found in many nurseries but in Canada you would have better luck getting it from other members (H2O's hawaiianbotanicals retail orders).
thanks guys. Yeah I messaged one ofthe guys selling vft clones a bunch of times but he never got back to me so I figured that was a way of telling me to stick around for a while. lol. I'm sure 10 posts are not gonna be a problem, but its kinda strange that no one wants to take my money before the 10 posts. lol...
no, I know growers are busy people, Im not offended. Thanks for the cupped trap offer but I'mlooking for the bigger trap clones (b52/king henry/ low giant) and possibly some seeds so I can try my hand out at germinating them. I might even let my first plant flower, just to experience the cycle (once it matures, lol). Thanks for welcoming me to the forum and take care.
I don't think Justin (H2O) is ignoring you, he is just very busy at the moment. I have VFT 'cupped trap' if you're interested Cheers Willy
Thanks Willy! It's true I have been very busy. I just got back from two back to back conferences in Tucson Arizona and London England, one I'm sure everyone knew about, the ICPS conference (I will post pictures for people to enjoy). I had an awesome time in both places but being away for close to three weeks puts my regular life behind a little. I'll be working through emails and PMs over the next couple days.
Fair warning to all those who ordered plants I probably won't get around to shipping orders until after the Labour Day weekend. It's seed collection and sowing time for me but on the bright side I'll have some extra seed to be giving away soon.
