So I was planning on building a terrarium down in the basement when I stumbled upon this beauty on the local buy & sell for free! It's a lot bigger than I was looking to build, but that just means I have more room for cp's Just need to place a hard plastic sheeting on top to screw in the lighting, place some racks, and remove the refrigeration unit (which made this thing real heavy) before it goes downstairs. Then it should be good to grow!

Leave the refrigerator unit in, you could grow highland neps in it.

This is true, but i still gotta take it out to be able transport. Might have to save the unit if it still works!

Thats fantastic. A perfect unit if you can get to work...you might have the prefect setup for highland nepenthes. Looking forward to see your updates.

Well the unit does work!
Vraev -I would hope to in the future to grow a bunch of highland Neps, but for right now I'm gunna hold off.
Can't wait to get it going! hopefully by next week depending if I can get the materials to rig up the lighting just below the top glass.
Willy -For sure, probably won't be pretty at first though haha
Ellsie -Thanks!

You are so lucky to have a terrarium that literally comes with a built in refrigeration unit. Any updates?
