Hey everyone, I've grown very interested in carnivorous plants within the last few weeks, and I think I'm finally ready to plunge in! Currently only have some lame tomatoes and spicy peppers sitting on a table me and my 4 year old son built: But I'm looking forward to starting a collection of carnivores PS, what's the best one to deal with mosquitoes? haha.

Hi & welcome! Mosquitoes like blood so CPs don't really attract them.. but if you're interested I have some D capensis you could try! (I also live in hamilton)

Welcome to the CPSC, I am also in Hamilton. I have a bunch of Capensis, Binata and various other common Drosera outside and in the greenhouse. I rarely see mosquitoes on the leaves.

Welcome - I find that an electronic flyswatter is best for mosquitos, but my sundews in a terrarium in the basement seem to find fruit fly meals from time to time.
