I'm in the middle of a major repotting. Everything had gotten overgrown to the point of decline.
Once everything recovers, I'll try to get some new pictures

I'm not near the photographer that some on this board are, but every once in a while I do get lucky :-) Butch, I'm going to have to disagree. Respectfully. But, those are some really nice shots! The one with the wasp is a great photo and a really interesting moment too! I know you guys have some tenacious critters down there, but that one is still impressive. Thanks for sharing your photos here!

Alex, Here's a crab spider on a HCW clone F of mine. I wasn't aware of it but I've since been told some crab spiders are able to change their color. (cell phone pics iirc) just amazing to me,

Still digging through folders of pics... This one always reminded me of spice worms of Dune H. pulchella I don't remember what species this is, but from the appearance I would say this seed pod is probably about 4 weeks old Some species have nectaries on their flower petals. Not a good evolutional trait imho, if too productive the tackyness prevents the flower from opening. Some species such as this natural H. elongata x ionasii hybrid have hirsute Inflorescences (image shows it surrounded by H. neblinae pitchers) I think this hybrid has the most beautiful floral display of any of the Heliamphora. The inflorescences picture I posted earlier in this thread is of this same plant.

My favorite Helis are the members of the neblinae group (neblinae, parva, ceracea etc) I think they are some of the most elegant. This pic shows the classic neblinae "stripe" H. folliculate, this unique species will turn the most stunning deep red H. uncinata New hybrid being born IMHO, heli seed are designed to be distributed by water. The rough edges are perfectly designed to grab onto debris as the run off from rain carries it away. I've been trying to stay in cp mode, so please forgive the tangent but here are a few of my fav rose pics

I know the first and last rose pics were with the 100mm macro, the middle was a vintage soviet Helios 44M-7 I got into vintage lenses pretty heavily for a few years and now have a decent collection from the 60's and 70's I did get a 70-200mm Canon zoom for Christmas one year, these were taken with it. Here is one of my favorite vintage Soviet lens pics, I think this one was taken with the Helios 44-3 The Soviet/Russian Helios series and Jupiter-9 are incredible lenses on the cheap imho, it's their Zeiss clones. Many of them made in former Zeiss factories that were trapped behind the iron curtain.
