Canadian POTM contest Rules:
1- One plant per entry.
2- The plant must be grown by the member for at least 3 months, or grown from seed by the grower.
3- The picture(s) have to be taken in the month of the contest.
4- No 'In situ' plants. Only cultivated plants.
5- Multiple pictures of the same plant can be posted, in the SAME post.
6- All entries must be clearly identified.
7- Members can POST an entry from 2016-05-01 to 2016-05-31 included, PST time.
8- Members can VOTE from 2016-06-01 to 2016-06-10 @11:30PST time.
9- The winner of each month will appear in the Hall of Fame sticky thread.
10- Only one (1) entry per user.

Hi H2O - Beautiful! The legendary bloom of D. hamiltonii. Love it! I've never gotten it to bloom. And these days it's cultivation confounds me, despite having succeeded with it for years in the past. C'est la vie!

Honestly I don't think many people realize how amazing the flowers are on this species. The only species that beats it (IMO) is Drosera cistiflora.
I have to say my conditions are already well suited to flowering this species so I can't take as much credit as I would like. Cold, damp and dark winters followed by a gradual light increase along with warmer temps. So far it seems like a hardy little species in terms of temperatures too, ~1-2 low this year to a 45 high.
When the second one flowers I'll make a thread for this species.
