Thanks for the welcomes Squamish is about an hour's drive north of Vancouver BC, about midway between Vancouver and Whistler. We have local drosera that grow around the edge of some of our lakes and estuary My collection is fairly small these days ten types of sundews or so ( including pygmies), A baby helio ( which is growing very well on my windowsill , a baby ceph, also window sill . Three nepenthes, Three varieties of fly traps three ping varieties, I keep a few bromes with them as well. Outdoors I have a couple more dews, eight or nine Sar's, a darlintonia ( also wee), And that is about it these days, I will probably get another type of ceph and possibly some more helios. I am After four more neps and a few more sars. My space is limited unfortunately...

Hello amanitovirosa, It is indeed / I am indeed Italian. good call. The name actually comes from a japanese animation film by Hayao Miyazaki about an airplane pilot who becomes cursed. There is similarities between my actual last name and the characters, so some of my friends used to call me porco, porcini or porco rosso. We have tonnes of amanitas out here in Squamish as well, many different varieties. Lots of good mushroom foraging in these here hills actually. Millions of Boletes, lots of Pine mushrooms, morels, chanterelles, lobsters etc. Very diverse, no chaga though.....

...so you know my name too, good show (changed it to the masculine). I am well aware of the mushroom situation out west and I WILL move out there one day! Salute! AV.

I'm proud that nobody on the CPSC has brought up the fact that Squamish sounds very much like squeamish. Such restraint is admirable.
