For anyone that is interested in flytraps that are sold out (or even if you were thinking of getting some) please contact me by Sunday. I will be ordering more flytraps to stock back up for the summer Sunday night.
I apologize to anyone trying to get a hold of me for the last week, I've chosen a terrible time to get sick and I'm just starting to get back to people now.
Right now I'm trying to get all remaining orders shipped on June 20th and June 27th. I'm just waiting for HB plants to arrive before I can ship most orders. If you only ordered Sarracenia then I can get your plants out on the 13th.
IF Canada Post does go on strike I will be giving people the option to ship plants via FedEx. I will drive to the nearest drop-off at the airport to ship plants but as always the shipping cost is to be paid after I ship the plants.
I wanted to update everyone here rather then send a dozen emails saying the same thing.
Pretty much every order is waiting on HB plants. I talked to Jack today and this week didn't work out to send plants because they've been very busy with a large order of plants that came in this week. They're hoping to send them out this coming week and I will have all the plants needed for orders. I will then send out plants on Monday the 27th, it is only a 4 day work week but express post it guaranteed 2-4 business days to pretty much every address. If anyone is worried about the strike I am more then willing to drive out to FedEx at the airport and ship plants through them, if the cost difference is large I will cover the extra cost.
This all being said I do apologize of being absent, being sick before the CP show wasn't good for me as I lost my voice and wasn't able to talk during the show (those that know me, know I don't ever shut up so this was hard) Monday was take down and its been catch up ever since! Tomorrow I fly out to Atlanta Botanical Gardens to drop off seeds that are part of a CP related conservation project, something I hope to share around here after I finish writing the article.
I promise pictures of the show, ABG and my plants after I get back later this week!
As for future orders most will have to wait until half way through August. I am lucky enough to be heading to Arizona at the end of July for a Butterfly and Invertebrate conference and the day after I get back I will be heading to Kew Botanical Garden for the ICPS conference. When I get back I will be planning a BBQ for locals that want to hang out.
In the meantime I will be in and out of the forum, I will eventually get to all my messages
