I was thinking about that too but stepped back from the price tag. I ended up getting T5HO and will see how effective it is this winter

Yeah, if the price was a bit lower it would probably be a no brainer to order it, but coming close to $200 with shipping is a bit steep.

na I dont have a link. I just pick up a new bulb from my local pets store every time it burns out (I have my tortoises for 12 years and have only replaced my bulb twice, given I run the light for about 8hr a day...even I'm pretty impressed by the performance. lol). But the company is called Exo-Terra... I also keep Tortoises, and just wanted to pass on a warning. UV is important for the tortoises to produce vitamin D3. Those bulbs you are buying are only good for about a year. The manufacture only rates them for a year, and many test show the UV levels start to fall after six months. Just because the light is lighting up, it does not indicate that UVB is still be produced. For people that are wanting the benefit of UV for their CP's this would also apply. Exo-Terra does make one of the better UVB lights for reptiles, but it still is only rated for a year.

Agree with you Leon I have dragons and I chnage out my uvb and uvd bulbs at lest 6months.
