I have loved reptiles for quite along and hope to study them when I'm older

Hey, sorry I didn't see this sooner. I have been keeping reptiles for many years now. Do you currently keep any?

Cool, I only keep a couple boas these days but have kept panther and veiled chameleons in the past. I have never owned a tarantula before although I find them fascinating; I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with spiders lol.

They are definitely fascinating creatures:) and a long term companion if you happen to get a female. My tarantula Lola will live to be 30 years old

If I ever got one it would be Haplopelma lividum or Poecilotheria metallica. They are just awesome. Or perhaps an Orange Bitey Thing .... except I would never open said cage to feed it... a whole different set of problems with that critter.

Oh yes I would never own an obt, way too aggressive for my liking.
