No idea why Photobucket rotated this picture or why it wouldn't rotate it after I uploaded it. Anyway, you can still see it. As you can see, they don't need giant pots and can grow in community pots. I keep it under T5HO in room (low) humidity). Fertilize with Schultz's orchid fertilizer diluted to 50 PPM, ~ 3 cc misted on the leaves daily with distilled water spray afterward. The soil looks dry on top every night (lights on) before I water it, enough to generously moisten the top inch or so but not soak the pot through. It seems happy.

Hi Lloyd,
Those are really nice specimens!
I also use T5HO to grow mine (2XT5HO 54 W, 22 inches from the plants) but they grow really etiolated. Do you put the T5 near and move them back from the plant as they grow ? How much lamp do you have (4?) ?
Thank you,

Hi Lloyd - Nice plant! I don't know if I can remember the last time you posted a picture. I guess you just save it until it's worth your effort!

I have 2 banks of 4 X 4 foot 54 W T5HO 6500K lights. The lights are 12" from the tips of the Drosophyllum to 19" from the soil surface. These lights are so strong that even the succulents do very well under them.

Nice veitchii Edward! One of Bonfield's? Looks a lot like mine. That carpet looks like it's made out of Perlite.
And there's Lloyd, with his flowering Drosophyllum. Good work. Is it self seeding? (Nudge, nudge)

(Nudge, nudge) Yes Hal, it is one of bonfields that I got back in September! They are beautiful, an exceptional grower Cole is. And yes, you should see the rest of the carpet, there is actual perlite from my last repot

I pollinated the Drosophyllum and it looks like seed is developing.

Thanks Edward, it seems like you have quite a bit of skill with Neps as well! These hairy tree-huggers are one of my favourite species.

Thanks! I have a hard time believing that those veitchii have been growing without help, I mean they must be on steroids
