Hi everyone Ive been having some trouble with my N. Ventricosa x hamata. It started with deformed leaves forming a few months ago. The main plant is now turning brown but I have a basal shoot and two growth buds that have formed on the lower end of the stock. Now they are showing signs of stress with reddish brown speckling on the underside of the new leaves. I cannot see any pests crawling around anywhere, even when magnified. I believe it is rust. Has anyone dealt with something similar? Any pesticides recommended? Please help!

You will need a fungicide. I'm not sure which are safe for nepenthis though

Hello Lauren, I'm not sure about this at all, but there seems to be something going on with one of my neps, but I'm absolutely terrified of using anything on it because I have no idea what's safe and what isn't. So, I will be glad to see the comments on here.

No bugs, no pesticides. Never heard of using fungicides on neps. I have No-Damp.

It's impossible to get a reliable answer without photos. Are you able to get some?
If you really feel like it's a fungal problem, Captan could help clear it up.
