Hi,
I'm new here (the forum, not the city) and I was wondering if there are any places in Gatineau or Ottawa that sell the following species:
Drosera rotundifolia Sarracenia purpurea (preferably the local subspecies...I forget which one it is)
I'm also very interested in finding species that look similar but are from further south and don't need to go dormant in the winter. I'm a nature educator and I'd like to find specimens I can use during the cold season.
Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome aboard.
If you can get in touch with member Devon, he live in Ottawa. He can surely help you but I didn't get any news from him for the last few weeks. Otherwise, you could start D. rotundifolia from seeds. They need a 4 weeks cold stratification but are otherwise relatively easy.
Cheers

I'll look into contacting Devon.
I ordered seeds from a place called Exotic Plants on amazon.ca and researched cold stratification, but none of my attempts have worked.
I was lucky enough that an acquaintance found some specimens of D. rotundifolia at a small lake owned by her parents, but I don't want to extirpate the species from there.
