Hi All. My cephalotus all seem to be affected by powdery mildew to varying degrees. I haven't changed much in how I keep them. There is a fan circulating air, I mostly only tray water allowing tray to go dry for a couple of days before refilling, and all are under fluorescent lights. I have a sulphur based fungicide. I was very nervous about using it, so I only painted (literally) onto the affected points, and then rinsed after sitting a few minutes. I have lost some pitchers since, but unsure if do to the sulphur, the mildew, or even just seasonal die back. I have since moved them closer to the fan. How safe is it to use? Should I be rinsing afterwards? I was thinking of spraying the whole plants, but worry about the effects of getting it into the pitchers, or it being in the soil.
Help! My babies!!!

Also, humidity isn't very high, 40-50 % during day, a little higher at night. Temps go up to 25 at highest. I've been keeping them for quite a while, without issue, and they had been growing quite vigorously up until now.

Sorry to hear about this Sticky, you might want to check out this older thread of curlingguys about how he uses fungicides on Cephs: ocps.proboards.com/thread/6992/grey-moldPersonally as I've rambled on about many times. These problems with mold and sudden die back no longer happen to any of my Cephs now that I grow them outdoors for as long as possible until there are forecasts of freezing temperatures in Fall/Winter. When I bring them in, they're put in a windowsill, during the windowsill portion of the year they receive only natural light and I give them plenty of air circulation via an oscillating fan. As soon as there's no threat of overnight freezing temps they're put right back outside, the only time the pitchers die is when last seasons pitchers brown after new growth commences in the Spring. Hope this helps some, best of luck.

Thanks Roraima,
There is new growth, but I am now toying with the idea that I just may have burnt some of the pitchers I was treating. Thanks the thread link, ill check it out.
