I usually just lay my pullings in room humidity where ever i want them to grow. That way, they acclimate immediately. Ive had about a 99% success rate with this Hi Isavalla, it's great to hear that you are propagating these wonderful plants via leaf pullings and having such a high success rate with your method. These are generally pretty easy plants to grow and take care of and there are about as many ways to propagate them as there are media mix recipes to grow them in. And having more than one single specimen of each Mexi-ping in one's collection helps ensure that there will be back-ups in case an unforeseen incident arises and the single was to be lost. Good luck with your collection and keep up the good fight. dvg

Great looking pings! Are those agnata the result of your selective breeding experiment? They're almost blood red.

Hi dvg - Looking great! Wish I could get any of my pings to look half as nice as any of yours. Good to see what I am shooting for.

Thanks for the comments, Great looking pings! Are those agnata the result of your selective breeding experiment? They're almost blood red. Hi Sarah, yes these agnata are the result of some pollinating I did between the mother and some of her darker siblings, a few years back. Hope to carry this out again with these darker offspring that resulted from the first pollinating attempts. Have to see if these will continue to get any darker in color, with another generation of selective breeding. dvg
