Good morning everyone. It has been 2 weeks since I brought home my plants, everyone is looking very healthy as they continue to grow. It has been a lot of fun taking care of them and watching thrive. The adult N. Ventrata I have has been moved to its final location, and appears to be doing well there too. Here are some pics of my grow chamber with some close ups. Baby VFT upper left with baby nep to the right. On the bottom left is Better Grow orchid moss, the 2 trays to the right are the NZ LFS, and just to the right of those are 2 bags with NZ LFS with another 2 in far back. On the very far right are germinating D. Spatulata, and D. Tokaiensis.

Looking great! Enjoy the room you have because sooner or later you will have so many plants that you won't have space for them all haha

LMFAO. I look forward to that day, because that just means that I would be able to contribute back to the community. In the mean time, I do have that free spot on the right side of the shelf.
Have you got any suggestions?
I was considering an S. Purpurea, but Humber nurseries were out of stock when i went and got all the others. of course it would have to be baby as well.

I have some S purpurea seeds that Hal gave me but I don't need all of them. If your ever in the orillia area you can have some.

That is so kind of you Willy, I guess we are going to have to wait for spring. Besides, there is only really room to fit 1 nicely. You just want to see the chamber over flowing don't you? Well so do I. LMFAO. In due time.
Hey Mack, Were they easily grown from seed? I have't been up to Orillia in ages, don't think I'll be able to make it up there, but... If you don't mind mailing, there is always SASE. But... I am currently waiting for a reply back from Humber nurseries about a possible S. Danas Delight and S. Scarlet Bell. one or the other, or both, if they still have them.
As I've been type all this, I noticed how much the addiction is settling in. I really want the S. Purpurea. So lets try and figure something out, shall we.
Thanks again guys.

I'm not sure this is gonna be my first attempt growing them from seed. They might freeze in the mail?

Next week is supposed to be cold, so it may freeze, then again, I don't know much about Sarr seeds.
Time to ask the professionals.
After a little looking, if the seeds are stored in a fridge they should last for years. depending on age from harvest.
How are you for storage space?

My other sarrs seem to be doing well in there so I'm hoping the seeds will too. I'll post pictures when they start to grow. Just put some S. Purpurea into cold strat.

Modifications made. PLUS... Newly acquired S. Dana's Delight, and S. Scarlet Bell. Believe it or not, I can still put more plants in there. I just have to suspend the old shelf upside down from the ceiling to make it work.
