My first attempt at growing CP's. They have been living in this set up 4 dats, so far so good. Left to right: Mature Nep, baby VFT, baby Nep, germinating drosera's.

The aluminum foil pans will leak. They are not meant to be continually wet.

The aluminum foil pans will leak. They are not meant to be continually wet. I found the thread ( ocps.proboards.com/thread/7191/aluminum-trays-water ) moment after i posted the pic, and of course panic set in. Mainly because i just started the germination of some Drosera seeds, and i know they will not survive if they get burried, and to move them now... well, we all know what will happen if I attempt that. will the pans last 2 weeks, a month? I'm in trouble ain't I?

We got no room on this forum for aluminum tray users!!!!
In my experience, it's kinda random. But the more important issue is that, aluminum is phytotoxic (bad for plants). There's some interesting articles out there you should take a find some and read up on it if you're interested

LMFAO.
Learn something new every day. Will look up phytotoxic. I am really surprised that I just saw this, and only here, or I saw it elsewhere, and just forgot. ***kicks self***
I have plastic trays that I can put them in, (old take out dishes, I checked, they are polypropylene), BUT... They are wider, so I anticipate a loss.
Although from what I've read, Drosera Tokaiensis and Spatulata are among the easiest to grow. Yet I mucked it up (find out in 2 weeks right?)
Today is going to be an interesting day.
