Hi all, I haven't been active these past few months, but here I am, doing my first giveaway. This is my first successful pollination and seed harvest, although as the title suggests, it's a self pollination of the cultivar 'Mirror.'
I've actually been wanting to try this cross to get some offsprings with a more stable mirror characteristic.
Excluding myself, I have enough seeds (10-15 ish) for 4 people. This is not a SASE.

The seeds will be sent out early tomorrow, so I think they should arrive by the next Friday at the latest for the people who live farther from me.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I know that VFT are a monotypic genus species... So would their seeds grow to be just typical VFTs? Or will there be a higher chance for the seedlings to grow to be more like the parents?

Any advice on how to grow vft from seeds? A few tips: -VFT seeds actually do not need stratification -High humidity -Warm temperature -VFT seed viability decrease with time, so sowing them now would be a great idea, especially inside under artificial lighting -If you decide to sow them a few months later, you should store them in the fridge -Do not disturb the seedlings when they are sprouting -Give seedlings TLC

Or will there be a higher chance for the seedlings to grow to be more like the parents? It's not a stupid question A good analogy I like to make to VFT's is ourselves, humans. So there are chances that the offspring will look like the parent(s), but it does not necessarily happen. But yes, they would be labelled as 'Typical' or F1 generation.
