After many battles with spider mites, I finally chased them away from my Herbs. However, now I have something as deadly, and I don't even know what they are called... Anyone knows what they are and anyway to get rid of them other than picking them up to feed sundew one by one? Many thanks!

Is a species of Thrips. Not fun to deal with, you could use Al Bickels Neem Recipe for a couple cycles. Probably better then using insecticides as there are several strains of Thrips that are immune to basic treatments.

For thrips: if possible put plants outside, that might help. Good cultural techniques are helpful too.

If it's the pure waxy oil, 4 oz. goes a long way.

yup! Neem oil is the best way to go. That was the eventual way to win over my battle with these pests & spider mites a while back.

Thanks everyone, Neem oil did the trick! Right now they are under control, only 1% or less of the pest population is left!
