Hi All,
I just received a very generous lot of seeds from a friend in Australia who basically has a CP farm. They are S. leucophylla in origin, but are open-pollinated. I have more than I need for sure, and would gladly send out 5 lots of 10-15 seeds if you send a SASE.PM me for address.
1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

Do these seeds need a 4 weeks' cold stratification?

Do these seeds need a 4 weeks' cold stratification? I imagine so. It's temperate, so it needs a stratification. I'm not sure how long they need it for though.

GA3 will work or a few months in the fridge.

I've usually done 4-6 weeks for sarr seeds. These seeds are a few months old (As Australia is exiting the cooler time of year). He has been storing in the fridge, but could likely benefit from a true cold strat.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm getting a pretty high germination rate without the cold Strat. Just floated the seeds for a couple of days and then sowed.
