this long overdue due post about my road trip to HB and the awesome CP fanatics meetings along the way.
on my way found a place to camp
fist stop to Visit with bcmosaic excellent Conversation about Cp and Cp setups. thank you for the sundews!
next morning wake up early to visit with pinhead found out making LED setup not as scary as one would think (wondering were i could find that led controller you had for your fish tank.) the finer point of Cp are not Egg shells or fragile. sad to see so many Cp struggling with the extremely hot wether at the time. recived a few ping pulling (ended up mixing up tags and one ping lived) N Ventricosa X ? and a few sundews that look like they could be turning around to recovery finally.
now off to the big house Hawiian Botanicals i was told they had a sad selction but was happy to find out difrently after talking to Jeanie i was handed three new nepenthes (face lights up) wishing they would keep going with nepenthes insted of winding down. mhmm after a little name dropping ended up in the back with all the sundews, Sars and more VFT then you can shake a stick at! while i waited for her to fill out H2O VFT order i took my time to wonder around and pick out the sun dews and VFT i would like (still wish i could pick up more) she realized filling out this order will take longer then first thoght she sent me and my many new plants to see H2O.
well Off to the island taking the long way i arived 10 min too late to catch the ferry to the island to make it to the Butterfly gardens so checked out Justin's out side Cp and he was generous and planted the Cp i received from pinhead i lewrning a few things about soil and how vibrent Sarracenias And VFT can get out side and I hey Grow like weeds.
