I keep my succulents on a water tray, and water they using tray method, 1-3cm of water every week. But be warned, I have a large population of springtails cultivated there so root rotting is less likely to happen.

Base on my years experience with Aloe, they don't flower easily and leaf cutting has very high fail rate.

Well, what's causing the dying? Usually people kill it by overwatering it, leading to root rot. Simply pull it out of the soil, water it up, let the root dry for few days, and then re-pot to a sandy soil mix. Aloe are quite hardy if you aren't too late noticing the problem(s).

No, we are missing each other there are no problems yet I only had it a week and the soil is very dry.. I have not even watered it yet but will give it a little soon maybe 3 eyedroppers of water I was asking if there was a way to save a dying one or just let it go and get another one?

Yea, I know you just got yours, and it's fine. I was explaining how to save one... Flood the soil once every 2 weeks, allow good drainage; 3 drops of water is not gonna do anything.

its in a plastic pot in a 5 inch clay pot do you mean flood the soil with the plant still in it or remove it??(its in a 5 inch pot now and looks like 3 plants) I was going to make a schedule Monday for it If I flood the soil should I let it dry a bit once it runs clear won't that much water cause the roots to get root rot?

Yes, water on top of the soil with plants in the pot, until water comes out from the bottom. Water it once every 2 week. Logged water causes root rot, it's not the amount of water that causes it.
