Pollen is not hard to collect, several ways to do it, I like my way as it ends up with just pure pollen and not stalks or flower heads to contend with . wait till the flower head has the rip pollen heads, its all fluffy and full on the flower head usually a nice full yellow colour, I take the flower stem off with tweezers car-full as not to make the pollen fall off the flower head may take a few try's to get right ,take it to my baking wax paper fold that is all ready open , ,have a soft art brush there and brush off the rip pollen on the the baking paper wax side out , smooth side in ,on which the pollen will fall on to and repeat till all rip pollen heads are done , fold up the packet and put into fridge into a container that is air tight or able to be sealed , and repeat in the next week or more till u have enough pollen for you need , ,it can be frozen do , just fold packet in to freezer bag or wrap in aluminum foil , and put into freezer for storage , DO NOT use aluminum foil to put pollen directly onto , its not good for the pollen and contaminates it quickly so never use it for pollen collecting ever !.
