Sorry about the one deciding it was a 5th wheel. With what you have they will be big enough in no time to do the odd leaf pulling to make more. Your traveler must be a different sort from mine which has gotten to 4" tall now and shows no signs of clumping. The spikiness of the limb brought it to mind. Have you tried sand from a pet store preferred for fish. Might have to look around

I would add something to the peat to break it up, like Perlite.

I forgot about this but we have sand blasting sand at are shop. I'm out that way we could work out a way To drop it off.

Perlite is easy, you don't have to worry about contamination.

Good news! I got some sand and washed it for an hour before redoing the soil for the Pings. Let's hope they are much happier now
