The bog in the fog. We almost didn't make it. As we turn off the asphalt road there's a huge logging truck parked smack in the middle of the gravel track up the mountain. And the dust from another is coming down the mountain a little way up. It would be suicide to drive up. Not to be deterred after coming this far and depreciating his car by 50%, H2O decides to have a chat with the truck driver to see what's coming at us. "I'll just be nice and tell him we're looking for plants" "No, no, he'll laugh at you! Tell him we're going up there to shoot guns!" H2O hops out of the car and immediately the truck takes off and we're left wondering...but then a big white crew cab appears. H2O flips his nose ring up, has a nice talk with the driver, and we get a safe escort up the mountain, past the grader and up to Km6 where we part ways and begin the long hike into the bog.

I'm pretty sure that's he words "nature enthusiasts" were used at some point while H2O was talking to the logger.

Haha nice guys, I got us there right?
I moved this to a thread of its own. Can't wait to see more of everyone's photos and for more of Hal's story telling.
