Hi, I've got one Sarracenia (?? lost the tag, so not sure what it is at the moment) with failed flower buds, the plant itself so far looks healthy. All the flower buds (at different stages of development) got a brown / dark spot along the flower stalk, which would become bigger and then would just fail (see photo) It only happened with this plant, all the other ones are fine and full of flowers. Any idea as to what could have caused it? Thanks

Are those threads hyphae?
Fungal vs. Fungus after something else, such as water stress.

Not sure, but those threads only appear on the one bud. The other three buds are just brown with no thread like structures on them. Thanks for the idea of fungus, I'll check for it a bit more.
