Is it rare to have a typical capensis flower white Or is it most likely a cross between alba and typical?

Typical's will never have white flowers, if it's white its an alba.

I'm lucky to catch another flower of Drosera Aliciae blooming! It's interesting to see the flower stalks of D. Aliciae are dewy, compare to hairy stalks of D. Capensis.

...ok, I gotta ask (we should probably have a separate section for this), what camera and equipment are you using. Is it Nikon? I'm really impressed by your photographs. Cheers.

Glad you like my photos! I am using my Sony Nex-5R Mirror-Less camera to take pictures. My usual lens is 55mm Zeiss prime lens, with extension Macro tubes for macro shots. I don't do much with the lighting as it is quite bright under the grow lights I made. You can see that some of my photos have different coloration to them; that is because I have different setups of grow lights (and I move my plants around until they are happy with the current light). Oh, and I have a tripod for some occasions

...thanks Willy. I gotta look into getting some decent camera gear and learn how to take quality shots like yours. Using my stupid phone for all my pics is just not cutting it anymore.

Flowers of Drosera Adelae! To my surprise, these flowers last for few days (at least these two are!) unless the other sundews' flowers I've seen!

Drosera Adelae is blooming! Indeed these flowers last longer than common droseras, probably because they require pollinators to make viable seeds.
