Insectivore and Vraev,
I can confirm that they self-pollinate, as I used to have this species a number of years ago (there's another one I need to get back one day).

SO u don't need to bother with them.....they fertilize themselves??/ i.e., the pollen fall on the stigma by wind or so?? that would be great.

Jay- you still haven't missed my party, which is tomorrow, unless you wanna stop by one the way tonight, still haven't met Maggie after all Thanks again for all the good wishes- I will post a pic of the HUGE surprise cake my Sister dropped by with- a REALLY cool hand-done Spongebob Squarepants- it took her over 4 hours to complete and I msut admit I am afraid to even cut it, it's THAT fine lookin (and it's chocolate on chocolate, gotta eat it early in the day or I won't be able to sleep )

Rick, I soaked a little piece of it in Superthrive and will place it in a moist, bright area on a mix of sphagnum and perlite- if it doesn't strike, I'll send you some seeds when it flowers!!!

Thanks Brian I am in the same boat- on tuesday we made plans to ride our bicycles down to the lake this weekend- they'll be left in drydock and we are currently modifying our plans to include more "staying inside" today
