Rec'd my first ceph in the mail today, to me it is a very nice specimen. Since it came from curlingguy, it would be a nice specimen for even the most experienced cp owner. I planted it in about a 40/60 mix of peat moss and horticultural pumice with a topping of sphagnum moss. I will see how things go over the next few days, hopefully I will be posting a picture!
Thank you again curlingguy, greatly appreciated by a newbie.

Congrats like Amanitovirosa my very first CP was a VFT I did not know any other CPs existed lol! when I ordered a few VFT from HB they sent me a Capensis with the stalk I did not even think seed I cut the stalk off and tossed it out !!,that's how naive I used to be.

...I just meant that most people probably don't start their CP journey with Cephalotus Follicularis.

I am sure my first CP would have been a VFT also if it wasn't for curlingguy offering the ceph to the winner of "predict the brier winner". Got lucky I guess.
