...very nice colour, there is zero green visible in a few of them. Some of my typicals are very dark too but there is always green in there somewhere. Are these 'Eden Black', or just ones that you've had over the years that decided to turn dark?

They are not Eden Black. Many years ago I bought two cephs from Cooks Carnivours and the giant one from Carl who is on this forum. So I grew my cephs from two typicals and one giant. I could lie and say they are Eden Black....just makes me concerned about unscrupulous sellers. Seems the random coloring can result in dark coloring of a typical ceph.

They are not nearly dark enough to be eden blacks.
Nice plants none the less. I always prefer the darker ones myself.
