iv signed up for an account,& I'm waiting for a approval. Maybe I'll get the answer I'm looking for before I get accepted, there's a really good Darlingtonia grower Avatar (FREDG), I would like to ask him with his growing temps that he has documented, what is his humidity doing, iv read as much as I could of his treads, but there has been no humidity documented. The only reason why i posted this was in hopes that someone else from here may have been in contact with him & may have asked the very question I am. Well thank you all that has taking the time to read this

Fred is not from Florida, he's from the UK. You are really overthinking the whole process but this might help. This will give you an idea of what the Costal population weather is like. bit.ly/1uPYAFw

Yes I know but that's the forum that his temperature statistics is on , so that how I'm gonna try and contact him threw..... i have the the temps that are supposedly the Darlingtonia's like, but I hear differant growing technequs,( like highland growing terrariums they happy in ) & I also know that the temps in the mountains are cool with low humidity, out of every CP's that I grow the Darlingtonia's seem to be at a stand still, so if I'm missing somthing as little as humidity then I would love to fix it THATS all

FredG is aslo an active member on CPUK, you could contact him through that forum as Florida CPS is a little slow at the moment due to one thing and another. But Fred grows his in pure sphagnum moss in shallow trays in a greenhouse in the UK and I dont believe he is concerned too much about the humidity as we (in the UK) rarely have extreme high or lows to concern the plants.

Ya I'm pretty sure iv read all his threads, pretty good stuff iv even seen your brief conversation with him (Steve booth) I don't want to bother him just 1 question (humidity)
yup 3 sizes of shallow trays live spag but out of all the threads from both UK & Florida forums iv have yet to see anything on humidity cause he is growing in a greenhouse so shouldn't humidity be a key factor of growing these wicked plants ?

I dont think that humidity is too critical, although it could depend on whether you have a mountain or low land clone, but if you look at where they grow in the wild and check the climatic variances of the areas, that may well tell you all you need. Certainly Freds seem to grow in temperatures above the recognised upper limits for the plants and they are probably fairly humid at those time due to the local evaporative effect of the water in shallow trays from the sphagnum.
