I feel I must come clean. I actually do believe that Ontario is the only real province. That is why I feel we should keep the OCPS name. It is possible that other people live in Canada outside Ontario but I am not convinced.

Its OCPS Ontario Carnivorous Plant Society no one was refused membership No one except the creator of this site has the right to object over the name Now I understand, this is a free site and storage was granted they did not have to grant any storage and there might be a good reason on a upload cap maybe the server has more than 1 site on it needing storage or the server may have ran out of space for uploading to it

maybe the server has more than 1 site on it needing storage or the server may have ran out of space for uploading to it ProBoards hosts over 3,000,000 forums. They keep a cap on free storage for a reason.

I will echo the chorus that photo sharing is the way to go. Personally I think a name change isn't a bad idea, I mean right off the bat "Ontario Carnivorous Plant Society" gives people the impression we can't grown Darlingtonia

There are already many other sites referencing us as the OCPS, so I think that a name change for this particular forum would be a poor decision.
However, new Proboards forums representing every province/territory and interlinking to form a Canadian CP web ring would probably allow for more regionally specific cultivation info to be found without any extensive searching, not to mention satisfy any language preferences. Anyone who joins these new forums would be likely to join those for the other provinces/territories as well, so this may be able to draw more new members than it would detract.
