I have a massive army of springtails in my indoor tray of seedlings & my sundews can't exsterminate, are they going to damage my Sarr seedlings ? Some say there bad others say good ? Can anyone share there exspierience with them ? Kinda a funny my top shelf plants don't have them but it seems my bottom shelf / seedling shelf are swamped !!

I don't think Sarr. seedlings would be bothered, they are pretty robust. More delicate seedlings might be damaged, possibly. Lowering the temperature (not freezing!) might help, sarr's are pretty hardy.

I've read once that some springtails can be nefast but didn't see some of those myself. All the springtails I encounter were good food but sometime, there's too much of them and they can induce mould formation. If you feel the need, you could try to empty and clean your water tray. That will not kill the springtails but should lower the population. In my case, I usually find most of the springtails at the borderline between the water line and the tray ... Otherwise, put some mature pings in there

I have millions of them everywhere in all my tanks. I never had any problem with these little monsters, like martin said they are food and they also eat the dead parts of your plants. Just ignore them, they work for you
