I have a few phal orchids. I grow some in clear pots, one is growing bare root on a rock, and I have two sky planters hanging the plants upside down from the ceiling. I was wondering what you guys do. What tricks or interesting experiments you've had success of failure with. JB

I'm trying my baby phals on some LFS tied to a board in a terrarium.

Most of mine are in green, plastic square pots with one holes carved on each side. My other orchids that prefer drying out before watering are in ceramic orchid pots. I have recently tried mounting 2 phals and a bunch of tillandsia on a slab of cork bark. So far, the mottled phal (I hope it's phal schilleriana, but I got it indirectly from a grocery store so I guess it's most likely a NOID) has started to make new roots to attach to the bark.
